I am a photographer in case you didn't notice...formerly under the name Love Free Studio
Photographs are important.
That's me in the red, I've always enjoyed being behind the camera instead of in front of it! I'm lucky to have had a childhood before the age of digital, and always loved pouring over the family photo albums. I first picked up my mom's Minolta film camera with the intention of photographing my model horses and very quickly fell in love with the idea I could communicate through the camera. Storytelling is what excites me, not stilted moments, and documentary photography allows me to convey connection.

I completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (with a focus on art history and photography) from the University of Ottawa and the Photography program at Algonquin College (where I won the first year portfolio award and had the opportunity to do my co-op placement with the incomparable Edward Burtynsky). I have been photographing weddings for 10+ years and photograph all things equine @ Orange Horse Studio.

I'm also a horse nerd...
I've loved horses since a young age and used to compete and worked as a horse show groom. Now I'm exploring positive reinforcement training and beyond with my once feral pony Zodiak aka Zozo @poniekind as well as becoming certified in Equine Facilitated Wellness and creating programming for youth experiencing homelessness.
